水仙は、冬から春にかけて咲く、すらりとした姿が美しい花です。黄色や白の花を咲かせ、その芳香は春の訪れを感じさせてくれます。寒さに強く、日当たりの良い場所を好みます。球根植物で、毎年同じ場所に花を咲かせる多年草です。花の形がラッパに似ていることから、ナルシサスとも呼ばれます。
